Marketivate ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. We design our salary and financial calculation tools to operate locally within your browser whenever possible, minimizing the collection of personally identifiable information.

2. Calculator Inputs & Browser-Side Processing

All compensation amounts, hourly rates, work hours, tax assumptions, inflation metrics, and calculation parameters you enter into our tools are processed entirely client-side in your web browser.

We do not transmit, collect, or store your private salary data, paycheck details, or financial scenarios on our backend servers.

3. URL Share Links

When you use the "Copy share link" feature, your selected calculation inputs are encoded into the URL query parameters so that you can bookmark or share the scenario. Anyone with access to the link will be able to see the specific input values encoded within it. Please exercise discretion before sharing custom URLs containing compensation figures.

4. Google AdSense & Advertising Cookies

Marketivate partners with third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense, to serve advertisements when you visit our website.

Please note the following disclosures regarding Google AdSense advertising:

• Third-Party Cookies: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites across the internet.

We use Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID: G-FXSNVCR553) to analyze aggregated traffic, user engagement, and popular tools. Google Analytics collects technical telemetry such as your browser type, device category, referring URL, operating system, and approximate geographic region.

IP anonymization is enabled by default in GA4. Entered salary numbers, date parameters, and share-link parameters are explicitly scrubbed and never forwarded to Google Analytics.

6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We and our third-party service providers use cookies for:

• Essential & Functional: Remembering interface state and theme preferences.
• Analytics: Understanding user journeys to improve calculator accuracy and page speed.
